FAT VAMPIRE® is a special filter pad specifically designed for all dampening systems in sheetfed and web offset printing presses.
FAT VAMPIRE® absorbs all greasy (invisible) contamination from the surface of the dampening water in the tray, pollution that standard filters are unable to fully capture.
FAT VAMPIRE® floats and prevents any residual contamination, missed by conventional filtration, from migrating and settling onto printing units. It does not replace the system’s standard filters, but perfectly complements them by completing the filtration process.
WHY FAT VAMPIRE?
It has always been crucial to interrupt the constant flow of contamination that, day after day, accumulates (as unfiltered residue) in a “hidden” way on every printing unit of multi-color offset presses.
Over days, months, and years, this ongoing build-up can lead to unexpected and persistent issues, such as ghosting, which remain unsolved and still lack a clear explanation!
