API Foilmakers’ UBH series consists of metallic hot stamping foils. It offers an excellent coverage to a wide range of substrates especially rough, textured and uncoated.

Hot stamping offers the best and most reflective finish of all coating processes and is also the most versatile for use on different materials and substrates.
The reason for this lies in the application method and the foil itself, as the heat and pressure used to print the foil eliminates irregularities in the surface of the substrate.
Like a mirror, hot stamping foils use a thin layer of metal behind a refractive medium (a thin layer of lacquer). Brightness and opacity are therefore free from the variability that affects metallic printing inks, caused by variations in layer weight and the distribution of the metallic pigment within the resin system.
