Elastic counter die product for blind embossing of paper in the basis weight range from 50 g/m² to 180 g/m².
PRÄGOplast is an elastic counter die material used in all die-cutting and cylinder machines as well as in all embossing and stamping machines.
Available in two different sizes:
– 20 cm x 29 cm
– 29 cm x 40 cm
– Guarantees the production of counter dies in a matter of minutes: the material is glued into the machine in the same size as the metal embossing die. The impact of the pressure as the machine runs creates the relief on the elastic surface corresponding to your metal embossing die.
– Requires no lead time and no precision cutting.
– Allows for dimensional corrections without the need for a new die.
– Remains unchanged even at high volumes and shows no signs of wear.
– Supplemented by PRÄGOfilm, a self-adhesive, transparent film that is stuck over the finished plate. It serves to stabilise and protect the counter die.
– PRÄGOplast can also be applied to round surfaces. The thickness of the material – when applied – is 1 mm (excluding the backing).
