PRÄGOtherm 800-R25 4k

PRÄGOTherm 800-R25 4k is a thermoplastic counter die material in foil form, which is welded to the PERTINAX base plate by brief contact with the metal embossing die heated in the machine to 130°C and is shaped to form the counter die in accordance with the metal embossing die.

Available in two different film thicknesses:
– PRÄGOTherm-S15: 0.15 mm for structure embossing
– PRÄGOTherm-R25: 0.25 mm for multi-stage embossing, i.e. with different depths.

Allows for the easy production of counter dies with embossing dies whose embossing is deeper than 0.25 mm. Several PRÄGOTherm foils are superimposed for this purpose. Contact with the heated embossing die causes the foils to fuse with each other and with the PERTINAX base plate, forming to the full embossing depth is guaranteed.
